Aloysious Kasoma is using a pen to change lives

‘If you ask me what I would part with on a tour to heaven, ….i would go with a pen and a notebook. When I go up there, I want to interview God and his archangels, why is the devil so disgusting…..?”

I want to be a Becky Chambers of a type, writing about aliens by visiting their space, they serve me breakfast lunch, and dinner as they tell me why they want to conquer earth. How did they evolve to have sophisticated technology?

Chambers, in her edition about Aliens the Long Way to a Small, Angry Planet is defined by grounded hopefulness and top-notch space opera pastiche — it captures so many of the reasons I love Star Trek without actually having anything to do with Star Trek — and it soon found a cult fan base. That fan base has grown considerably as Chambers has published three novels set in the same universe as Planet, as well as two unrelated novellas. That’s my dream reach!

The Wayfarers series is Chambers’s most famous work to date. It even won the Hugo Award, one of the most prestigious sci-fi prizes, for best series in 2019. It centers on a future version of humanity that has found its way into something called the Galactic Commons, a sort of United Nations for the galaxy.

Mark my words, where we started this journey is not where we are, we have moved a thousand miles touching hundreds of lives in the documentation you conceive outside there on this platform.

Unmovable! we have conquered wild places, endured sleepless nights and at times we have been threatened because of what we do with passion.

From all the run-ins and overnight sleeps, we do it to document and bring you a full package of what we do to change lives from the Central region, West, West Nile, and Eastern region.

Aloysious Kasoma is the force to reckon with, the silent warrior behind the notebook and a keyboard on a mission to change lives using his unique skill.

Kasoma is a professional seasoned journalist/writer, PR practitioner, and Researcher well-versed in matters of Environment, Economy, Social and Political News, and Analysis trends.

A Well learned writer with a humble background and currently pursuing his dream professional at the New Vision in the Business Cubical.

“I come from a humble background and sometimes am not shocked by what I see in our missions to change lives. Most of the people I have documented whether in articles or in my scripts for the documentaries you watch, I see myself because I was once there,” he said.

According to Kasoma, being a writer and a content developer is not easy because you must have an extra eye and feel such that you can write from an informed point of view.

He has mastered the art of writing with unique skills fused with an Investigative Approach and research according to the assignment.

“I have to adapt faster to any environment to get a good story to write about. I am a versatile writer and if you need a writer on a project, you have got me,” he said.

Kasoma says that he is in a right place at the right time with the right people and is willing to continue learning from Brain Yesigye Bravo the Executive Director, and the entire Bravo Shoes Community Support Organisation management and the board.

“When the board was unveiled, I saw progress in my work, I felt my work is appreciated and I welcome the new challenges in my career. Am ready to learn, unlearn and relearn from the ocean of wisdom near me,” he noted.

As a Content Contributor and Consultant, he has managed to pull a lot of news sources from the big corporate entities in the country when he turns up to write their messages in booked spaces in the New Vision among other publications he has worked on before.

“I have been previously deployed to generate content by covering events with, parastatals like Banks, ministries, companies and telcos, Stanchart Bank, Crane Bank, Centenary Bank, KCCA, and government Ministries in their PR activities across the country with the aim of positive publicity in the media.”

This has been achieved through consulting as an individual and also working with different PR practitioners and companies like Fire Works, H&K Strategies, Metropolitan, WMC, and Media Age.

Looking forward, Kasoma is promising more improved content to inspire more people on board.

“This is 2023, I look forward to the creativity and attracting another 1.5 million people to make over 3 million across all our social media platforms. We need to locate more potential sponsors such that we can impact more lives this year. Even you reading this, we welcome you,” he said.

Kasoma also appreciated the media team he is working with and applauded their endless commitment to serving the organization in all situations.

“If you ask me about the best team to have worked with, I would tell you Elijah is the best camera person. I have directed him to capture shots on bumpy, dusty-rusty roads and he would not disobey, we have risked wild dungeons and lion dens to get you that good camera store with Elijah.

I have Solomon, his eyes could be having camera lenses before that perfect shot. Am telling you, this guy can take a shot at the close contact of the hungry lion yawning, I always see the best of his shots. Wow…guy is talented.

I have Wallen, the drone pilot, he could be somewhere in Ukraine locating Russian troops, that guy negotiated with the giraffes at Murchison Falls National Park to kiss his camera fitted on the drone.

Lastly, Anne Kaka, we call her Sam Bright MUHINDO’s mum, she would always pamper us whenever we are weak, and her team comes first among others.
